Thunderstorms were forecast for Florence this week but although huge grey clouds loomed overhead, the sun continued to shine. So, my first stop this morning was Gilli’s cafe on Piazza della Republica. After class, I just had to window shop and then enjoyed a late lunch with friends in the Oltrarno area.
