Window Shopping In Via Tornabuoni

Florence in September is just so busy and bustling with activity. It’s the month when most schools and various educational institutes open their doors to a new crop of international students. Last night, after a delicious supper at Obicà in Via Tornabuoni, I treated myself to some serious window shopping. The streets were magically empty and the never ending queue of people that I had seen at 8 pm, waiting to enter Palazzo Strozzi for the opening night of “Ai Weiwei. Libero” ( he is the most famous living Chinese artist) had disappeared.
